Privacy Notice

Data I collect

Account: email, username, display name, avatar, and language.

Children's data: name, username, avatar, and activity (chores, points, rewards). This is created and managed by a parent or guardian, who provides it on the child's behalf.

Content you submit: support messages and photos, gratitude notes, and prayer requests.

Usage and device data: app version, time zone, and a push-notification token so I can send notifications.

Diagnostics: when the app or website hits a problem, I receive an error report with the technical details of what failed, the app version, and the device model and operating system. These reports identify your account by an internal ID only, never by name, username or email, and never include your location. On the website only, an error during payment may also record a replay of that screen so I can see what broke; all text and form fields are masked.

Purchases: subscription and entitlement data from Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, and, for website payments, from Stripe or OpenPay. I do not store full card numbers.

How I use it

Primary purposes: to create and run your family account, provide the app's features, process and verify your subscription, respond to support, and send notifications.

Secondary purposes: to improve the app and send occasional service messages. You may opt out of secondary purposes at any time by contacting me.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Frutitos is designed to be used by families. Child profiles are created and supervised by a parent or guardian, who provides and consents to the child's information.

I do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child without a parent, and I do not show behavioral advertising to children.

A parent or guardian may review or delete a child's information at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by contacting me at jesus@frutitos.app.

How I share data

I share data only with service providers that help operate Frutitos: the app stores and RevenueCat (purchases), Stripe or OpenPay (website payments), cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services), error monitoring (Sentry), and push-notification services. I do not sell your personal data.

California privacy (CCPA/CPRA)

I do not sell or “share” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) the personal information of California residents. California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information by contacting me at jesus@frutitos.app.

Your rights

You may access, rectify, cancel, or object to the processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent, at any time. To exercise these rights, write to jesus@frutitos.app. You can also delete your account directly in the app (Settings → Delete account).

Data retention

I keep personal data while your account is active. After you delete your account, I delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where the law requires me to keep it longer.

Security

I use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfer

Frutitos is operated from Mexico, and data is processed and stored in the United States through my cloud provider. By using the Service you acknowledge this transfer.

Cookies (website)

The website uses essential cookies to remember preferences such as theme and language. Any optional cookies are described, and where required consented to, on the site.

Changes

I may update this Notice. The current version, with its effective date, will always be available here.
